The Field Elm Ulmus minor sensu latissimo cultivar 'Amplifolia' was first described (as U. foliacaea var. amplifolia) in Meded. Comite Best. Bestr. Iepenz. 10: 9 1932 and originally raised at Hesse's Nurseries, Weener, Germany.

Description

The tree was said to have very short internodes with crowded leaves [1].

Cultivation

Probably extinct.
